The RSTO15 Koyo (JTEKT) is a track roller or support roller with needle rollers. These rolling elements combine high load capacity with a compact design. Track rollers are designed for use with various types of tracks. Thanks to a thick-walled outer ring, they can withstand high radial loads. Axial loads due to alignment errors or misalignment can be absorbed in both directions. Yoke type track rollers are suitable for mounting on a shaft. They are not mounted in a housing bore, but a flat (counter) track provides support.
The RSTO15 Koyo (JTEKT) is equipped with a cage that prevents the rolling elements from coming into contact with each other. This design allows for a controlled movement of the rolling elements. There is lower friction compared to full complement track rollers, allowing for higher rotational speeds and less heat generation. Common applications of support rollers include conveyor systems, linear guidance systems, and cam mechanisms.
