The NJ2318-E-XL-TVP2-QP51-C5 FAG is a sturdy bearing. This single-row cylindrical roller bearing was designed for use in extreme conditions. QP51 cylindrical roller bearings are used under vibration conditions where shaft deflection occurs. In normal cylindrical roller bearings, these loads would cause peak forces at the sides resulting in increased wear. QP51 cylindrical roller bearings, however, have convex inner and outer rings. This special design will evenly distribute peak forces, resulting in longer service life.
Also, the NJ2318-E-XL-TVP2-QP51-C5 FAG is part of the NJ-Series. NJ type cylindrical roller bearings have inner rings with one rib which are removable on one side. The outer ring, to which the rollers are attached, has rigid ribs on both sides. NJ-bearings can support radial loads as well as axial loads in one direction. The removable inner rings make assembly and disassembly easy.
