The KR26BDZ-2RS Timken is a cam follower with needle rollers. These rolling elements combine high load capacity with a compact design. Cam followers are designed for use with various types of tracks. Thanks to a thick-walled outer ring, they can withstand high radial loads. Instead of an inner ring, they feature a solid, threaded stud, enabling easy mounting. Axial loads due to alignment errors or misalignment can be absorbed in both directions. They are not mounted in a housing bore, but a flat (counter) track provides support.
The KR26BDZ-2RS Timken is equipped with a cage that prevents the rolling elements from coming into contact with each other. This design allows for a controlled movement of the rolling elements. There is lower friction compared to full complement cam followers, allowing for higher rotational speeds and less heat generation.
