The GSFT35 SNR is a housing unit that consists of a stainless steel bearing and a thermoplastic housing. This combination makes the housing unit suitable for use under harsh conditions. Thermoplastic housings have higher mechanical strength, stiffness, and temperature resistance than ordinary plastic housings. Additionally, the housing is lightweight. This facilitates assembly and maintenance and reduces the load on the entire setup. Finally, the stainless steel bearing is corrosion-resistant and therefore suitable for applications where exposure to moisture or chemicals occurs.
