The GE12PB INA is a spherical plain bearing. Spherical plain bearings are two-piece plain bearings. They have no rolling elements, but consist of an inner and outer ring. This construction gives spherical plain bearings their high load carrying capacity and capacity to accommodate misalignment.
The GE12PB INA has a steel-on-bronze sliding contact. The steel inner ring contacts the bronze surface of the outer ring.
