The 29480EM KIS is a spherical roller thrust bearing. This type of bearing can handle high radial loads and extremely high axial loads in one direction simultaneously. The specially designed raceways of this bearing accommodate a large number of asymmetrical rolling elements. These rollers transfer the load from one raceway to another. This occurs at an angle relative to the bearing axis, while a flange on the shaft ring guides the rollers. Spherical roller thrust bearings, also known as axial spherical roller bearings, have the highest load-carrying capacity of all thrust bearings. Additionally, they can achieve relatively high rotational speeds.
The 29480EM KIS allows for a compact bearing arrangement. Additionally, this bearing can accommodate misalignments.
