The 2305-2RS-TVH-L281-C4 FAG belongs to the group of double-row self-aligning deep-groove ball bearings. This bearing type with double-sided seal is a double-row bearing. Both rows are housed in a spherical raceway in the outer ring. This construction allows the bearing to be self-aligning. This means that any misalignment of the shaft relative to the bearing housing does not adversely affect performance.
These features make the 2305-2RS-TVH-L281-C4 FAG highly suitable for applications where substantial misalignment or shaft deflections may occur. Also, self-aligning bearings have the lowest friction of all rolling-element bearings. Even at higher speeds, there is only limited frictional heat.
