The 22240B.MB FAG is a spherical roller bearing. This bearing type has a solid inner ring, which runs on two rows of symmetrical rollers in a solid outer ring. The outer ring has a concave, spherical raceway. This design compensates for any alignment errors and shaft deflections. Spherical roller bearings can withstand particularly high radial loads.
